another HUGE lifedrawing session

This time it was with the Wonder Geeks Activate! folks.

They invited some fantastic cosplayers/models to put on a top tier lifedrawing event with plenty of content and great prizes! I even won one!

A very big thanks goes out to Adam Tupper, Cherry Valance, Audrey Hipturn, Dex Morgan, Champagne Sugar, and Shawn Hundsdale. I really enjoyed my time spent drawing today and feel the 6 hour long stint I stayed produced some really great work.

CoreTechs:Tactics Trailer BG pan

Trying to paint up the first of the panning backgrounds from the CoreTechs:Tactics backgrounds. It's a pretty huge undertaking. I've never tried to tackle something of this magnitude before and it'll take some serious experimentation with painting style to get it to where i'm hoping to take it. I'll post progress shots of it as I go. Here's a greyscale of how it started and a shot of where I'm at now.

Another 30 Day Challenge that I'm already a week behind.

So my buddies put together a Villain 30 Day challenge and I'd hate to miss out on at least some of the fun. I don't have time for fully finished pieces so it'll be sketchy on these images. I just can't NOT do a few of the proposed characters over the month.

Coretechs: Tactics doggie redux

Misunderstood that the dog unit I had been designing was meant to be entirely synthetic in nature. So after some tweaks this week we have this!
