Sunday again already?! Yikes, time flies. Especially with an overactive toddler in your care.

The Cutening
Progress continues well for my next convention project, I've passed the half way mark on roughing out the characters that will be used in it and should hopefully be done the roughing process by the end of next sunday. Behold the most recent cutenings!
- Topic the 2nd -
I've been contacted by the boardgame fellows and things are still on hold but we're looking at a possible continuation of bleak prison boardgame art in a few weeks! Yay!
That's all for now! See you again next Sunday blogworld!

Sunday Update! 9/18/2016
So as another part of putting together a better routine on social media and promotion of my artistic endeavours I've decided to make Sunday evenings my roundup night here on my blog along with some words on current and future projects.
-Topic the first-
A successful week of sketching towards my next convention project! 6 out of 20 planned images have been roughed out and I'm hoping that in two weeks time I will be ready to start on the cleaned versions! It will be much clearer as to what final project these will all factor into when the lineart is clean.
Behold, the adorableness.
-Topic the Second-
Overall, things are going well on adapting to near daily updates to my multiple social media outlets. I've been trying to make sure at the very least one of the above images in the sketch project gets posted to tumblr, twitter, facebook and instagram. I've got to take a look at designing maybe one new thing a week to put up on my Society 6 Page to keep things fresh and moving on there.
-Topic the Third-
Boardgame art! I'm currently in a holding pattern for a prototype boardgame a fellow contacted me about a while back, I submitted the following pieces in a bid for the opportunity and was overjoyed to be taken on to do their card artwork.
So until my contractor can resume production i'm on hiatus, but I'm super stoked to do some more bleak 'Walking Deadesque' style prison artwork when things get rolling again. Keep tuned for more previews.

Fan Expo Success! New project for conventions! Social Media blitz!
Fan Expo was a blast, made great new connections, saw old friends and had an all round great time!
I've got lots of ideas for expanding and improving my selection of artwork for future conventions here in Ottawa and abroad. (Toronto and possibly Montreal depending on commitments and contracts) Big thanks to my wife for her great advice and help in my journey as an artist, she's always a fantastic sounding board and font of supportive ideas.
Speaking of which...
Parents and those looking for gifts for nieces, nephews and other young arts inspired youth take note! I've begun designs for a geeky kid friendly project to offer at upcoming conventions and will be posting the work in progress sketches on my social media locations so you can get a taste of what is to come!
I've been undertaking a heavy investment of time into creating a properly structured social media network through Facebook, Tumblr, my blog, Instagram and Twitter. Following these places online will let everyone know what new projects i'm involved in, what conventions I'll be selling artwork at, where to buy my artwork online, and the chance to see unique sketches and pieces unavailable anywhere else!
So sign up, Follow and share with your friends and family!

More sketches.
Saturday has begun at Fan Expo and the madness has begun!
I had a great compliment to my work yesterday at the end of the day when a woman who had stopped by my booth first thing that day came back saying my sketch of Maz Kanata had really struck a chord with her and stuck in her mind all day. She said she was convinced she had to have it and made the purchase. Feel good moment of the convention right there.
Made some more sketches in hopes to captivate a few more con goers.

Fan Expo 2016!
Settled in at our booth (A440) at Fan Expo in Toronto and ready for a weeked of geeky spectacles. Taken some time after restocking the buttons to draw a few portraits of popular characters.
It's alost a foreign feeling drawing on paper again. I've been working digitally for so long at my day job it has taken a toll on my analog artwork.
No matter, I'll draw all the kinks out with a few more sketches over the weekend. Today's subjects are Geralt of Rivia and Maz Kanata.
