I recently bought a license for a program I used back when I did character animation for a studio called Mercury Filmworks and I'm eager to try it out. Being in a Guild Wars 2 state of mind lately, I thought I'd take some of the concept art of a character from the game named Eir Stegalkin and create an animateable torso to play around with. Here is the sketch of the character.


I recently began work on an animated short who's script and directing team are all from Ottawa, Ontario. I've been given the task of making visual all of the elements of the script. Below is a turnaround of a minor character from the short. Keep an eye out for The Googolplex this December.

Joined a guild for the upcoming MMO Guild Wars 2 and I'm getting acquainted with how forums work. Saw a few cool examples of signatures at the bottom of peoples posts and I thought I'd give a crack at making my own, here's the beginning of the signature so far, havent put much time on the text and there will be a character painted in on the left hand side by the end.

What lurks in the Deep?!


Bloop.

































Filled out the interior and gave a bit more structure to the lower chin. debating weather to work on the atmosphere around the creature or go in for some detailed lighting where things are a little muddy in the nose and mouth area.
